About Amanda
Hello! I'm Amanda, a second grade teacher currently residing and teaching in the great state of Texas. I was born and raised here, with a few years spent in Oklahoma City.
My husband and I enjoy spending time reading, traveling, and going on walks and runs with our German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix, Tex. We met in college and both enjoy cheering for our Texas Aggies.
I earned a B.A. in Anthropology from Texas A&M and went on to earn a Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Western Governors University. I am going into my 3rd year of teaching, and am so excited because I will be team teaching this year and will be responsible for all Math, Science, and Social Studies components while my teamie will be teaching all Language Arts components to our kiddos.
